Skalo.agency uses technical cookies, necessary for the website to work, and — only if you allow it — two separate categories: the statistical cookies of Google Analytics 4 and the campaign-measurement cookies of Google Ads. The two categories are accepted or declined one by one, and we do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
This website is hosted on Vercel, which may use strictly necessary technical cookies for content distribution (CDN) and website protection. These cookies do not track users and do not collect personal data. Also on Vercel runs Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits in aggregate form: it writes no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not recognise you from one visit to the next, so it does not require your consent. It tells us how many people read the pages, not who they are.
If you consent to statistics, the website loads Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited): it tells us how many people visit the pages, where they come from and which content turns out to be useful — never who you are. If you consent to ad campaigns, it loads the Google Ads tag on campaign landing pages, to know which ads bring real enquiries. We have turned off data sharing with other Google products, and IP addresses are only used to estimate the country of origin without being stored. Until you consent, Google's script is not even downloaded: no request leaves your browser towards Google's servers.
Bookings use Koalendar: some pages embed the calendar, while campaign landing pages open it only when you click Book. Koalendar receives the details you enter to arrange the call; Skalo records them in its CRM to handle your request. With campaign consent, it may also receive a random journey reference. The calendar and contact options remain available without this reference and without advertising consent. A reference can be linked to a booking for one hour. Once linked, its provenance data can be used for up to 30 days from creation; otherwise it expires after one hour. Physical deletion takes place during the next hourly cleanup. When you withdraw the campaigns category in cookie preferences, the site asks its server to erase provenance data for this browser’s references, without deleting bookings. After a network error it retries when you return to the site or reconnect. Only the withdrawal identifier is retained for up to 30 days, plus the cleanup cycle, to reject late requests. If you delete cookies first or use another device, email info@skalo.agency to request removal of data already sent. The calendar offers a separate optional checkbox for Google Ads. Without this choice and a matched return from the same tab, a booking cannot be a measurement candidate. You can also withdraw using the button in the privacy notice and on the return page.
On your first visit a panel appears at the bottom of the page with two equally weighted choices: Accept and Decline. With "Choose" you can decide category by category, because statistics and ad campaigns are different purposes and are authorised separately; the switches always start off. The panel does not dim the site, does not block reading and does not force you to answer in order to keep browsing: you can read and use every page leaving it where it is. If you would rather not answer, the X withdraws it into a small icon at the bottom right, and in that case it counts as a refusal for both categories: no cookie is installed. Silence, scrolling and closing the panel never count as consent.
You can change your mind at any time: click the icon at the bottom right and choose again — withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it (Art. 7 § 3 GDPR). Your choice stays valid for 6 months, then you are asked again. Prior consent for non-technical cookies is required by Art. 5 § 3 of Directive 2002/58/EC and by the cookie guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021; technical cookies alone are exempt.
